(Old Brookville, NY – October 5, 2004) – Five members of the Banfi Vintners sales team have earned the coveted Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) credential from the Society of Wine Educators, passing the difficult, hour-long qualifying examination that covers a broad range of topics including viticulture, wine production, wine regions, and wine tasting.
The new Certified Specialists of Wine are: Cindy Deutsch, Director of National Retail Accounts, Richard Goodine, Asia Export Manager, Artie Macon, On Premise Accounts Manager for the Southeast Region, Jennifer McKeogh, On Premise Accounts Manager for Texas, and Timothy Ryan District Manager for Texas.

The Society of Wine Educators was established in 1977 and is the leading international nonprofit organization dedicated to wine education.
