(Santiago, Chile – March 2006) – Boldly depicting Casillero del Diablo, Frontera, and Xplorador wines on its sporty, fire-pit orange painted RV, Concha y Toro will take to the American road this spring in a six-state tour. With live radio remotes, in-store tastings, and other special events, this exciting trip begins this April in Texas, moves on to Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey in May, and concludes in Ohio in June. The three brands being promoted include Concha y Toro’s most popular, all represent outstanding value, and each are perfect for barbeque season.
The Frontera lineup, America’s #3 imported wine, includes a Merlot, Carmenere, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz, a Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend and the newly introduced Rosé and Cabernet Sauvignon. All the wines are packed with flavor, approachable in style and, at $6 for the 750ml bottle and $10 for the magnum, priced for enjoying every day. Xplorador invites wine lovers to explore what they enjoy about wine and discover what makes Chilean wines special. Offering a Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Malbec, all at approximately $8 for the 750ml bottle, Xplorador is considered by many to be an entry point into fine wines. Casillero del Diablo, on the other hand, provides an introduction to Concha y Toro’s reserve wines. Crafted by renowned wine maker Marcelo Papa, the Casillero del Diablo line includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenere, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Available in 750ml and 375ml bottles and priced at $10 and $5, respectively, all reflect Chile’s unique terroir and Concha y Toro’s blend of traditional style and modern winemaking.

“These wines are ideal for something that Chile and the US have in common - - everyday entertaining and backyard barbeques,” said Sebastian Lopez of Concha y Toro. “We are looking forward to getting on the road to meet all those loyal consumers who have made Concha y Toro America’s choice in fine wine, and introducing these great wines to many more.”
