Chile's Sincerity Introduces Organic Sauvignon Blanc
(Colchagua Valley, Chile – October 2005) – Sincerity, Chile’s leading producer of organic wines, will add a Sauvignon Blanc to its roster of wines exported to the US. Like Sincerity’s other critically acclaimed wines, the cuvée of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and the Chardonnay, it will be crafted by famed Chilean winemaker Alvaro Espinoza.

Made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes biodynamically grown on Sincerity’s Cordillera vineyard estate in Chile’s Casablanca Valley, Sincerity Sauvignon Blanc is pale straw in color. It offers a classic herbaceous bouquet, crisp citrus flavors, and a lingering finish. It is a fine match for seafood, white meats, and a wide range of Asian fare. It also makes a wonderful aperitif. A 750ml bottle will retail for approximately $15.00, available in limited quantities nationwide.

Sincerity wines evolved from a farming effort based on a socially responsible philosophy dedicated to sustainable production, delicate care in the vineyards and an intimate relationship with the environment. They are produced in limited quantities at the Colchagua Valley winery of Viñedos Organicos Emiliana (VOE), a pioneer in organic viticulture in South America.

Sincerity is imported exclusively by Banfi Vintners, the leading wine importer in the US. Founded by John Mariani, Sr. in 1919 and run today by his children and grandchildren, the privately held company has earned a stellar reputation for developing its tight, closely run portfolio of wines into category leaders.
