Four Banfi Vintners professionals have earned the coveted Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) credential from the Society of Wine Educators, passing the difficult, hour-long qualifying examination that covers a broad range of topics including viticulture, wine production, wine regions, and wine tasting.

The new Certified Specialists of Wine are: Gary Cook, District Manager for Michigan, Mary Clare Chiofalo, New World Portfolio Manager, Sandra Krut, Portfolio Integration Senior Manager, and Bill Whiting, Wine Education Manager.

“The Mariani family and Banfi Vintners consider wine education as fundamental to their objective of developing a finer wine world.” said James Mariani, family proprietor of Banfi Vintners. “We feel justifiably proud of our colleagues not only for this achievement, but also for their continue dedication and passion.”
