"Sincerity," Organic Wine From Chile Makes U.S. Debut
A new organic wine from Chile, to be called "Sincerity," will be released in the US in June. A cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, Sincerity is produced by famed Chilean winemaker Alvaro Espinoza.

Sincerity evolved from a farming effort based on a socially responsible philosophy dedicated to sustainable production, delicate care in the vineyards and an intimate relationship with the environment. It is produced in Chile’s Colchagua Valley from organically grown grapes on vines averaging 10 years old.

"We are pleased to introduce this exciting wine from a producer so dedicated to quality and the environment," declared James Mariani of Banfi Vintners, the brand’s exclusive U.S. importer. "Sincerity possesses a natural expression of terroir that only organic agriculture can reveal, yet a depth of style that is usually associated with more traditional winemaking methods."

A blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, Sincerity shows a deep, ruby color with intense aromas of berries, cassis, pepper and toast. It is a fine match to grilled chicken or chops, red meat and aged cheeses. A 750ml bottle will retail for approximately $15.00.

Produced in limited quantities by Viñedos Orgánicos Emiliana (VOE), a pioneer in organic viticulture in South America, Sincerity will be available in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Upstate New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, Oregon and California.

Banfi Vintners is the leading wine importer in the US. Founded by John Mariani, Sr. in 1919 and run today by his children and grandchildren, the privately held company has earned a stellar reputation for developing its tight, closely run portfolio of wines into category leaders.
