….One with more character than its neighbors on the shelf is the Sartori Pinot Grigio. This wine is affordable and well made. It is not overpowering and will appeal to novice wine drinkers, yet it has enough character to be appreciated by those with.

Pinot Grigio 2004

“Chrysanthemum, dandelion, sweet papaya and guava compose a nose that is almost too much of a good thing. On the palate, you get what you’d expect from $9 Pinot Grigio: crispness but not a lot of complexity.”   86 BEST BUY

"This wine is exactly what it claims to be: a dry, white Pinot Grigio, a white that cries out to be consumed on a balmy day, preferably, outside, with plenty of salad, fresh vegetables, and... Well, you get the point. We enjoyed it. . ."   * * * ¾

"Somewhat exotic on the nose with spice notes, and mint, melon and lemon in the mouth.  Soft, but still a fair amount of crispness.  Good value."
- Christopher Cook - Oakland Press - 23 June 2003

"Pale gold in color, this Pinot Grigio has a subtle peach nose with some hints of lemon citrus. Light to medium bodied, it's dry on the palate and delivers grapefruit-citrus flavors followed by underpinnings of peach. There's also just the right amount of acidity for dining. The wine finishes nicely, with grapefruit and bitter-almond notes. A lovely, affordable Pinot Grigio. To enjoy this wine at its fullest, do not over chill it. The perfect accompaniment for linguine with white clam sauce or for steamed mussels."
- Roland Marandino - Tablewine.com - 9 June 2003

"A wine doesn't have to be great in the classic sense to be great in a real sense. Sartori's wonderfully fruity Pinot Grigio from the Delle Venezie region of northern Italy is a perfect example. It's low in alcohol, fleshy and round in the mouth, easy to quaff and simple without being boring. All you need is a warm day, some light snacks and a glass of Sartori Pinot Grigio - perfecto!"
- Robert Whitley - W.O.W. Report - April 2003

"A fine white-peach-scented Pinot Grigio, with a bit more fruit flavor in the aftertaste. Try with grilled seafood."
- Dan Berger - SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE

Pinot Grigio 2001

"Despite its lowly pedigree, the crisp clean flavors here make this an excellent value."
- Michael Apstein - BOSTON GLOBE 19 March 2003

Pinot Grigio 1999

"Light and pleasant apple aromas. Good acidity, quite taut and lean. A good aperitif."
- Decanter (UK) - July 2000

Pinot Grigio 1998

"Mildly herbal and earthy, Sartori's Pinot Grigio delle Venezie 1998 offers almond and orange blossom backed by light cloves and cinnamon in the nose; it's dry and crisp but round and balanced, too, with pleasant citrus-lemon flavors and a spicy finish. Very good."
- Fredric Koeppel - Commercial Appeal

"Slightly muted nose; flavors develop in mouth; ripe fruit with mineral notes; good acidity."
- San Francisco Chronicle - May 2000

"...a refreshing, crisp wine with appealing flavors of nuts, lemon, green apple and chalk - with an appealing hint of tart cherry. While it's a delicate wine, it shows an impressive grip. It's perfect for lighter seafood dishes or simply to quaff on its own."
