“Sangiovese Di Toscana - are grown on the historic Tuscan hillside and produce this ruby red, fruity, elegant wine. It dances in your mouth with dry, rich, crisp smooth, velvety flavors. And, as always, I find Italian red wine – especially Sangiovese – become more sumptuous after about 15 minutes in the fridge or five minutes in the ice bucket. But don’t over chill or you’ll turn the entire exercise into a fiasco. Cheers!”

Sangiovese di Toscana 2000

" This deep, cranberry-colored wine had aromas of ripe, dark cherries with hints of mocha. The panel found pleasant flavors of red and black berry fruit with hints of cloves and cocoa. This was a medium-to light-weight wine and not very complex, but very quaffable. Food Friendliness: The panel suggested pork, pasta or pizza."   88

" This is another simple - though simply pleasant - wine with light fruit and hints of earth on the nose, followed by flavors of cherries and strawberries. There's a light and refreshing presentation, with just enough puckery tannins to give it a boost to reach the finish."
- Dick Rosano - FRA NOI January 2003
