Shiraz 2002

" If you like rich, full-bodied red wines but don’t want to spend a small fortune on each bottle, try this Chilean wine from the Syrah grape.  It’s dry, but packed with the flavor of ripe, pulpy plums, and its tannin is fairly soft.  And the wine is a bargain at only $7.  It would pair well with a simple, well-salted medium-rare steak, or a juicy cheeseburger, but it’s fruity enough to work with chicken salad, too."
- Mary Ewing Mulligan – NY Daily News - 26 October 2003

Shiraz 2001

"Floral and creamy, with lively fruit and fairly powerful oak.  Without having read the label you'd be hard pressed to peg this as Shiraz, but it does taste like a perfectly acceptable everyday red with clean red fruit, some spice and pepper, and even some woody notes and tannins."
- Wine Enthusiast - July 2003

"This fruit-forward wine has appealing dark berry, plum, pepper-spice and vanilla flavors, a soft texture and a satiny finish."
- Robert Neralich - Arkansas Democrat Gazette - August 2002

"A very soft, supple shiraz that exhibits modest nuances of currants and plum against an earthy, smoked-game backdrop."
- Robert Whitley - Copley News Service - August 2002
