Vineyards

Trivento owns vineyards in the best zones around Mendoza chosen specifically for their ability to produce superb fruit that expresses each variety distinctively: (Russell) Maipú, Tupungato, Rivadavia, San Martín y (La consulta) San Carlos.

Los Ponchos, at 1,100 meters above sea level, in the Tupungato Valley covers 144 hectares. Low average vineyard temperatures slow the maturing of polyphenols, but increase the accumulation of tannins and the development of deep colours.

Los Ponchos
La Chamiza, at 809 meters above sea level, near our winery in Russell, Maipú, has 140 hectares of vines which grapple with the stony soils and whose grapes flourish amid the wide swings in temperature.

La Chamiza
Los Portones, at 649 meters above sea level, in the Rivadavia district, extends over 134 hectares in a traditional zone associated with red wines that benefit from abundant local sunshine.

Los Portones

Los Zorros, at 630 meters above sea level, is an estate of 122 hectares. Both of these vineyards are in Rivadavia, a traditional winegrowing zone associated with reds that benefit from abundant local sunshine.

Los Zorros
Tres Porteñas: 91 hectares at 612 mts. above sea level, in the San Martín district. It has 10 hectares over 40 years old and 81 hectares planted with red varieties. It has clay soils which are irrigated by a pressurized irrigation system using waters from the Mendoza River.
